Biography

My maiden name is Hammond. Our family has a long history in Rensselaer Falls. My father is Ralph Hammond, the current mayor of the Falls. He and my mother Marjorie live on Elizabeth Street and have for the past 40 years. I lived in Rensselaer Falls all of my life until moving to Canton in 2006 with my husband and two daughters. I am President of the Rensselaer Falls Library Association, Secretary for the Historical Society, and a Girl Scout leader for the Rensselaer Falls area. I am also a member of the Skyway Bowling League (20 years) in Heuvelton. Our team is comprised of the following from Rensselaer Falls: Lisa (Chase) Hammond; Sam (Rosenberg) Downing; Velma (Chase) Gushea; Tracy (Donnelly) McAdoo; and a past member Robin (Hanna) Johnson.
